Employing a mixed-methods approach, data were gathered from 222 women engaged in various cooperatives through structured questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. Results indicate a positive perception of women&#8217;s contributions, with 56.3% of respondents rating decision-making effectiveness as &#8220;very effective&#8221; or &#8220;effective,&#8221; and 63.0% believing that women&#8217;s representation significantly enhances cooperative performance. Key barriers to women&#8217;s advancement identified include societal norms and stereotypes (36.0%), limited access to training and resources (22.5%), and inadequate networking opportunities (20.3%). To overcome these challenges, the study recommends the implementation of mentorship and sponsorship programs, enhancement of training and development opportunities, and the adoption of gender-sensitive policies to foster inclusivity.
