Submission FAQs for Authors
The following Frequently Asked Questions are designed to guide authors through the submission and publication process across all journals published by Birpub.org. Authors are encouraged to read this section carefully before preparing and submitting their manuscripts.
1. How do I submit my manuscript?
All submissions must be made through the official submission system or email address of the respective Birpub Journal. Authors should carefully review the journal’s “Instructions for Authors” page to ensure that their manuscript complies with formatting and submission requirements before sending it.
2. What types of manuscripts are accepted?
We accept original research articles, review articles, case studies, short communications, and, in some cases, extended versions of conference papers. The type of article must be clearly indicated during submission.
3. Can I submit the same manuscript to more than one journal?
No. Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to multiple journals is strictly prohibited. Authors are required to declare that their manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere at the time of submission.
4. What is the peer review process?
Every manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening, followed by a double-blind peer review. This means that both reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, contribution to knowledge, and clarity. The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
5. How long does the review process take?
The review process typically takes between 4 to 9 days, depending on the availability of reviewers and the complexity of the manuscript. Authors will be notified promptly if additional time is required.
6. Are there publication fees?
Yes. Publication fees are based on the economic classification of the author’s country of origin. Authors from low-income economies pay $30, those from middle-income economies pay $50, while authors from upper-middle-income and high-income economies pay $70 and $100 respectively.
7. How do I make payment for publication fees?
Payment instructions are provided only in the official acceptance letter or through correspondence sent from the official Birpub email address. Authors are strongly advised to use only the authorized payment methods listed in these communications. Payments made through unauthorized channels will not be acknowledged.
8. What happens if my manuscript requires revisions?
If revisions are requested, authors will receive detailed reviewer comments and editorial instructions. Revised manuscripts must be submitted within the specified time frame, usually between five and four days. Failure to resubmit within the deadline may result in withdrawal of the manuscript from consideration.
9. What licensing and copyright terms apply to my article?
Authors retain copyright of their work but grant Birpub a license to publish and distribute it. Unless otherwise stated, all articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing reuse and distribution with appropriate citation.
10. How will my article be disseminated after publication?
All published articles are made available immediately under open access, ensuring free and unrestricted access worldwide. Articles are also archived in the Birpub repository and indexed in scholarly databases to enhance visibility and impact.
11. Can I withdraw my manuscript after submission?
Yes. Authors may request withdrawal before the completion of peer review without penalty. However, withdrawal after acceptance is strongly discouraged and may only be approved under valid circumstances. In such cases, administrative charges may apply.
12. How do I handle corrections or errors in a published article?
13. Who do I contact for support during submission?
All inquiries should be directed to the editorial office of the respective Birpub Journal via the official email address listed on the journal’s website. Authors should not rely on third parties or unauthorized intermediaries for submission or payment support.
