Specifically, it investigated whether effective communication contributes to minimizing resource wastage and whether teamwork awareness enhances product quality. The study focused on five pharmaceutical firms selected based on workforce size and years of establishment. A total population of 303 employees was surveyed, and due to the manageable size, a census approach was adopted. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and interviews, with 253 properly completed questionnaires returned. The data were analyzed using mean scores and Z-tests in SPSS. Findings revealed that effective communication significantly reduces resource wastage (Z = 8.400, p &lt; 0.05), and teamwork awareness significantly improves product quality (Z = 10.483, p &lt; 0.05). The study concluded that both communication and teamwork positively influence waste reduction and product quality in pharmaceutical companies in Cross River State.
